ღ In many ways Wendy was relieved to see the boy approaching, but also she was stunned at how he could ask such a plain question when there was clearly a common threat waiting only a few feet away. “I could ask you the same question!” She retorted grumpily, gaze swivelling back to the spider monster so that it couldn’t come an closer to her without her noticing. The boy hadn’t looked like a Bomber, though, certainly not dressed the same. In fact, he reminded her of.. Blue hues returned to the boy in shock. He reminded her of Peter. As she looked at him, she noticed a sword and shield on his back, and felt a glimmer of hope. “Are you here to save me?”
Perhaps a strange conclusion to come to, but when she had been in a spot of bother in Neverland, Peter had never failed to come to her aid. A glimmer of brightness caught her eye; the boy had a fairy, too! Hopefully this one wouldn’t treat her with so much jealousy as Tink had done upon their first meeting.
❝ save you? it’s just a Skultula. if you walk around it – ❞
right. most people weren’t so WILLING to walk in sewer water as Link was. not to mention that they were inexperienced around monsters and usually didn’t know about their territorial issues. Tatl could be heard giving an exhasperated SIGH as she hovered above his head, her light glowing BRIGHTLY amidst the darkness of the underground tunnels. he didn’t draw his sword or his shield, taking instead from his back a long, wooden bow. the fairy bow was his preferred projectile weapon, taking his stance and notching in an arrow to the fraying drawstring. perhaps he realy HAD over-used it.
the elf took AIM in silence, the water beads that clung to the ceiling dripping down and splashing in the water around them. a warm thumb touched the skin near his lips, and with each RAGGED exhale his aim stayed firm, the tip of his steel-tipped arrow whizzing from the drawstring and embedding itself deep into the soft tissue of the spider’s stomach. It was always the BACKSIDE that you had to strike, soft and tender like any human’s skin.
crimson sprayed him in the face and covered his hair, one arm coming up to rub off the RESIDUE from around his eyes. killing monsters was always a messy task, especially when it was a death deserved only by someone that really had no idea what they were doing– or who had no BUSINESS being down here in the first place.
❝ This is the Bomber’s hideout. You aren’t supposed to be here. It’s dangerous! ❞
ღ Entering East Clock Town by the top set of steps, Wendy was surprised to notice that the gap in the buildings straight ahead was no longer being guarded by the little ‘Bomber’ boy. The group had been rather adamant that no girls were to join their ‘elite’ group, and she had stormed off in a huff for a while. She’d just been so curious; what were they hiding down there?
Glancing around for the little boy with the orange bandana, she couldn’t see him anywhere.. And so quickly proceeded towards the gap, eagerness and curiosity filling her. Soon, she’d know what was down there! The path down was actually steeper than she’d first assumed, and she took her time to make it down safely before being met with the sight of a sort of underground water way. Holding her dress, she jumped carefully between the stone platforms, which were seemingly placed there as a bridge of sorts. “Ooh, how inconvenient.. Could they not have just had a walkway built?” These were the sorts of things the girl grumbled under her breath, managing to make it over there eventually. At least there were no mermaids trying to tug her in a drown her; that was a relief.
Wendy took a moment to get her bearings, then continued with new found confidence along the stone path. “Ha, they thought that would stop somebody? Well, it certainly wasn’t too dif-” Interrupted by something quickly lowering in front of her, the girl fell backwards in shock and fear. “Oh my-!!” Not usually the type to shriek, she couldn’t help herself now. It was like.. A spider! As tall as she was, perhaps bigger! And.. It was a skull.. With glowing red teeth… It was watching her, and instantly she shrank back even more. What sort of hellish place was this?!
Link started down the hallway at the sound of an AGITATED skulltula, the rocks that fell from the ceiling coated in shiny droplets of stagnant sewer water. very SELDOM did he lurk or prowl about near the edge of the stepping stones, for he had a feeling that something UNPLEASANT was always lurking around the corner. but he’d been coming from the colorful observatory and Termina Field, ever GRATEFUL for the entrance behind the decorative privacy fence.
deep down in the DARK tunnel lived the old astronomer, an elderly man that loved to teach the children of the Bomber’s gang. he had eyes like STARS and was as fat as a little boat, long gray hairs covering his head and face like an ideal grandpa. Link was anxious to come down to the hallway, face screwing up at the sight of an unfamiliar girl. had she followed him down here, or? she’d definitey gotten the SPIDER’S attention.
Link is a ten year old Hylian boy cast out into the world. Given a sword and called a savior, he was made to undergo dangerous trials and defeat several gigantic monsters and dragons of all sizes. Orphaned at infancy by his dying mother, Link was raised in the Kokiri Forest and was frequently abused by the child-leader of the Kokiri for being a Hylian.
He was forced to grow up without knowing the consequences of his actions; He chose to heed the Great Deku Tree’s words and bring the Emerald to Zelda at Hyrule Castle. Believing Zelda’s words and trusting her judgement, Link gathered the Ruby and Sapphire from two remaining temples, returning to town just in time to see Zelda retreating on horseback with Ganondorf in pursuit. Obtaining the Ocarina, he was told via telepathy to enter the door of time– but not what was going to happen next.
Upon waking up, Link’s shock is clearly written on his face. He is told to look at his growth, and he stands as a seventeen year old young man, able to wield the power of the master sword. While he is able to return to his age at the end of the game in the Child Era, Link ultimately loses his entire childhood and continues to see this pattern throughout the Zelda series.
Link is always born with the mark of the Goddess Farore on the back of his hand. It is a golden symbol, the Triforce, with the right-hand side lit up. It represents the piece of her existence that she granted to him, a fragment of power that enables him to dismiss fear and enter the realm of reckless indulgence to save the people of Hyrule from any evil or tyrannical being.
He's known to be childish at times and loves all kinds of food-- especially if its free. As a growing and healthy boy, he can often be found chowing down at the Ranch or somewhere in town, well-known by the town's occupants as nothing more than the fiary boy. Princess Zelda and those who matter within the castle, however, are not ignorant to what he had done for them upon saving their world.
Link does have an incredible angry streak, though. If anyone appears condescending, he does his best to put up with it, but he is unable to stand by if one of his friends is insulted or threatened with danger or harm. He's extremely protective of all those he bonds with, which is an incredibly hard thing to do. Almost all of his friends and companions leave about their business and have left Link to his own devices. It is assumed that he dies alone when he becomes the Hero's shade. If you do befriend him, handle with care.
First things first, the Mun is known as Pepsi; please use whatever pronoun you feel with with me. I don't mind it in the least! He/She is fine. Or they. Whichever you feel fits me best.
Shipping: I am a multi-verse blog/multi-ship blog. However, he’s very picky and it most likely won’t happen without years of angsty development. Why? …Well, he doesn’t care! Empathy/Sympathy won’t be found with this muse. However, he greatly admires beauty. What he finds beautiful varies.
I am also extremely selective of OCs and will not roleplay with those made purposely for shipping. i won't roleplay with ocs that are related to canon characters, or 'personified object' ocs. I also expect you to have something for me to read so that I may know about your character. ‘Rp to find out’ does not roll with me.
I do offer MUTUAL EXCLUSIVITY, but this is not a requirement. if you would like me to only interact with the muse you play on your blog, then I will expect the same in return. we must have been threading for at least a week before i will offer this feature.
If I am following you, that means that I want to thread with you. It means I’ve seen something promising on your page and that I do want to interact with you. Please note that I won’t rp with multi-muse blogs or gender-bent muses.
Lastly, if you decide that you feel the need to call me elitist or pretentious for my choices to role-play, i suggest you go and find one of the other thousands of Zelda blogs to meet your needs, as i refuse to respond to any anon hate messages without the use of know-anon, meaning that your url will be shown and i just won't care about the repercussions that brings you. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
VERSES LIST
Main verse: MAJORAS MASK. Game Setting.
Link, transported by means of mysterious magic to a world, Link embarks on a journey to save the topsy-turvy land of Termina from being crushed by the moon in just three days. To defeat the Skull Kid, Link has to live the same three days over and over again, but not without the help of a few transformative masks. His journey takes him from a poisonous swamp, a snowy mountain, a misty ocean and the valley of death itself.
Link has become Jaded in this world, keeping to himself and always weary of losing new friends. With Tatl floating at his side, Link does his best to rid the world of an extreme evil that not even he understands-- a terrifying mask of possession on the face of a child his own age.
This blog will allow plotting for the popular theory that child link is, in fact, dead. Termina is just a figment of purgatory while Link comes to terms with the five stages of grief. This means that any interaction outside of the Zelda fandom will have Link as a corporeal spirit, unaware of the truth.
[ THE BOUNTY HUNTER ] Post-Majora's Mask
Rather than going on at the end of Majoras Mask, Link stays in the lands of Termina and becomes a teen bounty hunter. Accompanied by no one down the roads that lead him any and everywhere, he carries with him the faceless masks of those who've passed on and is always cautious of strangers.
[ Main 2 ] Ocarina of Time ( all timelines )
In the vast, deep forest of Hyrule, the Great Deku Tree served as the guardian spirit. The children of the forest, the Kokiri, lived with the Great Deku Tree. Each Kokiri had his or her own guardian fairy, except one. His name was Link.
Upon gaining access to the Temple of Time and the Master Sword, Link travels seven years into the future. You learn that the time travel happens because, although Link is the chosen one to remove the Master Sword from its stone sealed sheath, you must be of a certain age to wield it. Therefore Link is trapped in a sort of “hibernation” until he is old enough to fulfil his destiny. When Link awakens he finds that in his absence, Ganondorf has used the Triforce of Power to take control of Hyrule and turn it into a post apocalyptic world.
[ SM4SH VERSE. Melee. YOUNG LINK. ]
Chosen to fight amongst the best champions, the competition gets rough when Link faces off against familiar rivals and strong foes he's never met before. This universe is used for a friendlier atmosphere for other view game characters. The tournament starts soon-- is your muse in?
